{"id":3626,"date":"2016-10-20T14:52:32","date_gmt":"2016-10-20T12:52:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.havlova-veskrnova.com\/?p=3626"},"modified":"2016-10-20T15:05:42","modified_gmt":"2016-10-20T13:05:42","slug":"artefact-heart-for-vaclav-havel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.havlova-veskrnova.com\/en\/artefact-heart-for-vaclav-havel\/","title":{"rendered":"Artefact Heart for V\u00e1clav Havel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the occasion of the <strong>80<sup>th<\/sup> birthday of President Vaclav Havel<\/strong> <strong>Ms Dagmar Havlov\u00e1<\/strong> came up with an idea to honour the memory of her husband and his jubilee. After the idea to install somewhere a reminder of the Czech president she addressed the director of the National Theatre in Prague, <strong>Jan Burian<\/strong>, director of the National Theatre Drama Section <strong>Michal Do\u010dekal<\/strong>, and they agreed on a location known as \u2018piazzetta\u2019. A family friend, the sculptor <strong>Kurt Gebauer<\/strong>, prepared several proposals for works of art that would serve as representatives of this plan. Of the proposals submitted by Professor Gebauer created, they agreed to work consisting of a red specially illuminated heart and three \u2018hearts in a cage\u2019. The artefact is named <strong>\u2018A Heart for V\u00e1clav Havel\u2019<\/strong> and its creation is funded by the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vize.cz\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dagmar and V\u00e1clav Havel Foundation Vision 97<\/a><\/strong>.
